Passport क्या हे ?

Passport एक ऐसा Document हे जिसके बिना आप किसी देश के बहार Travel के लिए नहीं जा साकते। किसी एक देश से किसी दूसरे देश में जाने के किये आपको Passport की जरुरत होता हे जो आपको आपकी Citizenship का Proof देता हे। किसी देश से बहार जाने के लिए आपको Visa की जरुरत होता हे और उस Visa के लिए आपको Passport की जरुरत हे।

Types of Passport

Generally Passport 3 प्रकार के होते हे, जैसे-

  • Ordinary Passport ( सामान्य पासपोर्ट )
  • Diplomatic Passport (राजनयिक पासपोर्ट)
  • Official Passport ( आधिकारिक पासपोर्ट )

ECR Passport क्या हे ?

ECR यानि की Emigration Check Required passport वो passport हे जो सिर्फ Uneducated और Qualification under class 10 लोगोको दिया जाता हे। जिसमे Visa लेने के वक्त Emigration उस passport Check करता हे।  

ECR Passport उनलोगो को Identify करता हे जो Unskilled, labor हे और वो लोग जो 10th से काम लिखा पढ़ा हे उन्हें जब किसी देश में काम के लिए Travel करता हे तब उन्हें शोषण न किया जाये। 

जो ECR Passport holder हे उन्हें Emigration के POE से Clearance लेना होता हे ताकि ये ensure हो की वोलोग सुरक्षित हे और उनलोगो के काम Legal rule के आधार पर हे और बिदेश में काम के लिए जाते वक्त उन्हें शोषण न किया जाये। 

Documents required For ECR Passport

ECR के लिए सिर्फ 2 Documents चाहिए –

  • Proof Of Present Address
  • Proof Of Date Of Birth 

अब हम लोग जान लेते हे की Proof Of Present Address में क्या क्या applicable हे-

Proof Of Present Address

  • Water Bill
  • Telephone (landline or post paid mobile bill)
  • Electricity bill
  • Income Tax Assessment Order
  • Election Commission Photo ID card
  • Proof of Gas Connection
  • Certificate from Employer of reputed companies on letter head
  • Spouse’s passport copy (First and last page including family details mentioning applicant’s name as spouse of the passport holder), (provided the applicant’s present address matches the address mentioned in the spouse’s passport)
  • Parent’s passport copy, in case of minors(First and last page)
  • Aadhaar Card
  • Rent Agreement
  • Photo Passbook of running Bank Account (Scheduled Public Sector Banks, Scheduled Private Sector Indian Banks and Regional Rural Banks only)

Proof Of Date Of Birth

  • Birth Certificate issued by the Registrar of Births and Deaths or the Municipal Corporation or any other prescribed authority,whosoever has been empowered under the Registration of Birth and Deaths Act, 1969 to register the birth of a child born in India
  • Transfer/School leaving/Matriculation Certificate issued by the school last attended/recognised educational board
  • Policy Bond issued by the Public Life Insurance Corporations/Companies having the DOB of the holder of the insurance policy
  • Copy of an extract of the service record of the applicant (only in respect of Government servants) or the Pay Pension Order (in respect of retired Government Servants), duly attested/certified by the officer/in-charge of the Administration of the concerned Ministry/Department of the applicant
  • Aadhaar Card/E-Aadhaar
  • Election Photo Identity Card (EPIC) issued by the Election Commission of India
  • PAN Card issued by the Income Tax Department
  • Driving License issued by the Transport department of concerned state Government
  • A declaration given by the Head of the Orphanage/Child Care Home on their official letter head of the organization confirming the DOB of the applicant

Non-ECR Passport क्या हे ?

Non-ECR Passport यानि की Non-Emigration Check Required Passport को ECNR (Emigration Check Not Required ) के नाम में भी जाना जाता हे। ये Passport  सिर्फ Educated (Class 10th Pass or higher Education holder)  लोगो को दिया जाता हे। 

अगर कोई निचे दिए गए कोई भी Categories Fulfil करता हे तो वो Non ECR Categories में अता हे –

  • All GAZETTED Government servants, their spouses and dependent children.
  • All persons above the age of 50 years
  • All persons having educational qualifications of matriculation and above
  • All children up to the age of 18 years. (For re-issue of passport, after they attain the age of 18 years, documents to prove their non-ECR category has to be submitted, else ECR stamping will be done)
  • Income-Tax payers (including Agricultural Income-Tax payees) in their individual capacity, their spouses and dependent children below the age 18 years
  • Persons possessing two years diploma from any institute recognized by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) or State Council of Vocational Training (SCVT), or persons holding three years diploma/equivalent degree from institutions, such as Polytechnics recognized by the Central/State Governments of India
  • Nurses possessing qualifications recognized under the Indian Nursing Council Act. 1947
  • All professional Degree holders , their spouses and dependent children. Examples of professional degree holders are Doctors holding MBBS degree or equivalent degree in AYURVED or HOMEOPATHY, accredited Journalists, Engineers, Chartered Accountants, Cost Accountants, Lecturers, Teachers, Scientists, Advocates, etc
  • All persons who have been staying abroad for more than three years (the period of three years could be either in one stretch or broken) and their spouses
  • Seamen who are in possession of Continuous Discharge Certificate (CDC), or Sea Cadets and Deck Cadets

  ii) Income Tax return statement (with income tax being paid by the applicant) for last one year that is stamped by income tax authorities and a copy of the PAN card
Note: i) Proof of payment of advance tax is not sufficient. You need to submit additional documents as specified above
ii) Applicants submitting NILL income tax return statement are not eligible.
For spouses, certificate signifying relation
 i) An attested copy of marriage certificate issued by the Marriage Registrar needs to be submitted. For verification, spouse’s name needs to be endorsed in the applicant’s passport.
 ORFor dependent children certificate signifying relation
 i) Birth Certificate issued by Municipal Authority or any office authorized to issue Birth Certificate by Registrar of Births and Deaths
 OR
 ii) School leaving certificate / Secondary School leaving certificate/ Certificate of Recognized Boards from the school last attended by the applicant or any other recognized educational institution

 i) Birth Certificate issued by Municipal Authority or any office authorized to issue Birth Certificate by Registrar of Births and Deaths
 OR
  ii) School leaving certificate / Secondary School leaving certificate/ Certificate of Recognized Boards from the school last attended by the applicant or any other recognized educational institution

Passport copy (first two and last two pages, including ECR/Non-ECR page and the page of observation (if any), made by Passport Issuing Authority)
For spouses certificate signifying relation
 i)An attested copy of marriage certificate issued by Registrar of Marriage

 ii)Spouse name should be endorsed on each others passport
Applicant has to submit a written statement detailing all the dates of exit and entry into India and produce the passport for verification. (Format: Sl. No, Date of Exit. Port of Exit, Page Number of passport containing the stamp, Similarly details of corresponding entry. The last column should mention number of days spent outside India. This should be more than three years (1095 days).
Seamen who are in possession of Continuous Discharge Certificate (CDC), or Sea Cadets and Deck Cadets

Who have passed the final examination of three years B.Sc. Nautical Sciences courses at T.S. Chanakya, Mumbai and
